Analyzing the Challenges to Circular Economy in Indian Fashion Industry

The fashion industry, during production and post-consumption, has major adverse environmental impacts. With the recent circular economy (CE) practices initiative, discarded materials are reused to recover value from waste. However, CE initiative have not been well-received by society. role of is very crucial in industry as it helps lowering burden caused materials, which turn help achieve sustainable development goals (SDG). This study aims collect evaluate challenges restricting preference for Indian industry. Based on literature review inputs experts, identified twenty-one challenges, seven categories (Industrial management, Labour, Material, Regulations, Knowledge, Collaboration, Infrastructure).
